πŸ”οΈ About Washington Pass

Washington Pass is the 5,477-foot high point of the North Cascades Highway (SR 20), one of the most scenic mountain crossings in the state. It marks the transition between the wetter west side and the drier Methow Valley to the east.

The Washington Pass Overlook is a short, paved walk from the parking area to a cliff-edge viewpoint facing the dramatic spire of Liberty Bell Mountain and the highway's sweeping hairpin below. It is one of the easiest big-view stops on the entire route.

πŸš— Access and Parking

The overlook has a dedicated parking area right off SR 20, with a short paved path to the viewpoint.
