Poʻipū Beach Park is one of Kauaʻi’s most popular beaches. Its crescent-shaped shoreline includes clear water, sandy swimming areas, a protected natural wading pool, and a narrow sandbar dividing two small bays.
The beach is popular with families, swimmers, snorkelers, beginner bodyboarders, and visitors looking for an easy South Shore beach day.

🦭 Wildlife
Hawaiian monk seals sometimes rest on the sand at Poʻipū Beach.
The official visitor guidance recommends staying at least 100 feet away and avoiding flash photography.
Never touch, feed, chase, or block the path of seals or sea turtles. Respect temporary ropes and signs installed by wildlife volunteers.
