๐ฒ About Lake Quinault
Lake Quinault sits in a rainforest valley on the southern edge of the Olympic Peninsula, ringed by old-growth forest and framed by low mountains. The lake itself lies within the Quinault Indian Reservation, while the surrounding rainforest and trails are managed by Olympic National Forest and National Park.
The historic Lake Quinault Lodge, built in 1926, anchors the South Shore and overlooks the water. The valley is famous for its "Valley of the Rain Forest Giants," home to some of the largest conifers in the world.
