🎨 About the Fremont Troll

The Fremont Troll is a large public sculpture tucked beneath the north end of Seattle’s Aurora Bridge.

Created in 1990, the concrete troll grips a real Volkswagen Beetle in one hand and has become one of Fremont’s best-known landmarks.

This is a quick sightseeing and photo stop rather than a hike. The sculpture sits beside a steep residential street, with only a small area available for visitors.
