πŸ’š About Diablo Lake

Diablo Lake is a turquoise reservoir in the heart of the North Cascades, set below jagged peaks and fed by glacial meltwater. Fine rock flour suspended in the water gives the lake its signature vivid blue-green color, most intense in summer.

The lake is one of several reservoirs on the Skagit River hydroelectric project. The famous Diablo Lake Vista Point overlook sits right on the North Cascades Highway (SR 20), making it one of the easiest and most rewarding roadside stops in the range.
